Arria 10 System on Module
The Arria 10 SOM is an Arria 10 SoC System on Module with an emphasis on embedded and automotive vision applications. Using Alteras Arria 10 SoC Devices in the 29x29 mm package, the module off ers a multitude of interfaces in a small 10 cm by 6 cm form factor.
Video IP
Dream Chip Technologies has developed a wide range of format converter to allow plug and play video-, Audio- and Control communication between various devices like cameras, recorder, displays and mixers. Some of these converters are for the Professional TV and Broadcast markets, others allow the use of HD cameras over the already installed coax cabling.
Video encoders:
The H.264 Intra Video Encoder 4:4:4 (IVE4) is a MPEG-4 AVC / H.264 (ISO/IEC 14496 - 10) ultra low latency encoding engine for high-quality video. It supports 4:4:4 color format and up-to 14-bit pixel resolution. The IVE4 requires only less than 200 clock cycle to process one macro block. This allows encoding of 1080p60 4:4:4 12-bit video signal in real-time on an FPGA running at 150 MHz with no need of an external memory and has sub-frame latency.
available for: SoC, ASIC and FPGA
The JPEG Encoder accepts YUV 4:2:2 input with build in raster-to-block conversion, dct, zigzag, quantization and Huffman coding. The core generates a JFIF 1.02 compliant data stream with up to 64 MegaPixel resolutions.
available for: SoC, ASIC and FPGA
The Chips&Media WAVE420™ is one of the most advanced hardware video codec IP core which supports the next generation HEVC(High Effi ciency Video Coding) standard, also known as H.265.
available for: SoC and ASIC
The WAVE420™ is deliberately designed for multicore architecture to deliver outstanding performance and scalability. The single core requires only about 100MHz clock frequency to decode or encode 1080p video at 30 frames per second, and it is extendable up to 8 cores for 8K 60fps processing.
available for: SoC and ASIC
The BodaDx3 Series decodes up to SD(720x480) resolution H.264/AVC stream as well as MPEG-4/H.263 and Sorenson spark.
available for: SoC and ASIC
The CODA7 series is a highly optimized high definition, multi-format video engine which is capable of encoding multiple formats such as H.264, MPEG-4 and H.263 at 1080p at 30 frames per second.
available for: SoC and ASIC
Video decoders:
The WAVE™ series is fueled by advanced multicore architecture to deliver outstanding performance and scalability. The single core requires only about 100MHz clock frequencies to decode 1080p video at 30 frames per second and it can be easily extent to 8K resolution at 60 frames per second.
The BODA9 Series can decode full HD(1080p) video up to 60 frames per second at 266MHz, supporting multiple video standards, including H.264, MPEG2/4, H.263, VC-1, RealVideo, AVS, as well as advanced video standards such as MVC(Multi-view video codec) and VP8.
The BODA7 Series is a highly optimized high definition, multi-format video engine, which decodes H.264, MPEG2/4, H.263, VC-1, RealVideo and AVS formats with the resolution of up to 1920x1080 and the bitrates of up to 40Mbps. It does all the work of decoding CABAC and CAVLC data on the hardware level, covers all existing HD-DVD and Blu-ray discs and preconfigurable decoding format needed.
available for: SoC, ASIC
